There is only one God who has the power to control, the right to judge, and who deserves all praise. When you try to control, want to judge others, or seek praise, you are taking God's place. When you try to take God's place, you are walking in a state of rebellion that is completely against the character of Jesus. Jesus trusted God's control, didn't come to judge, and didn't seek man's praise.
